High Artist Spotlight: Ronaldo Salazar
Movies, twinkies, and the jacket lying on his apartment floor he has to wash… All of these give artist Ronaldo Salazar inspiration for his art. The undeniable influence shown in his work, however; will always be comic books. Comic books are why he started drawing as a kid, and they continue to affect him to this day. Ronaldo was born and raised in Cleveland but has moved to Los Angeles where he finds the inspiration is second to none… (well except maybe the Empire state)… He loves the tactile feel of traditional mediums but also craves the limitless possibilities of digital, so he often combines the two in his work. “ree To Rise Above The Noise” was entered during High Art 2018.
