High Artist Spotlight: DOSER
Leonardo Palacios, better known as DOSER, was born in Lima, Peru on December 21, 1982. He began his life as a designer and graffiti artist at the beginning of 2001.
Self-taught and empirical by nature, he decided to leave the Communications Sciences faculty to devote himself fully to design, illustration and art.
His influences start at the beginning in the cyberpunk movement of the anime and then take it more personal and organic, mixing technology and nature with a touch of sudamerican mysticism, characteristic of his current style.
DOSER entered “Gran Prez” during High Art 2019.

High Art was created by Dona Frank and The Natural Cannabis Company in 2014 as a crowdsourcing solution to packaging design. From its humble beginnings, High Art has developed into an internationally-known art competition with thousands of entries annually from 100+ countries all over the world.
Each year professional and amateur artists create themed works through a variety of mediums to compete for $50,000 in prize money and to see their work featured on packaging, social media, at the High Art gallery in Santa Rosa, CA and displayed at prestigious art events, in the United States and abroad.
