Halloween Fun: North Bay Pumpkin Patches
Sure, you could purchase your festive gourds at the local supermarket, but what fun is that? October is a great time to get out and enjoy the mild fall weather, so a trip to a North Bay pumpkin patch makes an enjoyable outing for the young at heart, even if you don’t have kids. Halloween isn’t just for children, you know!
Grab a friend and your favorite cannabis strains then hit the road for a visit to one of these popular North Bay pumpkin patches. Some patches are open weekdays, so if you have the luxury of a flexible schedule, beat the crowds! Most school trips are in the morning, so plan your trip in the afternoon (after lunch) when possible. Medicate upon arrival and enjoy the beauty and bounty of fall!
North Bay Pumpkin Patches
When it comes to pumpkin patches, the North Bay has many options. Here are some of the favorites:
Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch – Marin hosts the beautiful Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch which features a corn maze, farm animals and plenty of pumpkins! Open all week, but if you plan a trip on the weekend, you can enjoy live music and entertainment. No pets.
McClelland’s Organic Pumpkin Patch – Come October the McClelland Organic Dairy Farm in Petaluma transforms into a pumpkin patch! Entry into the patch is free. If you have kids, there’s a fun zone with haunted house, corn pit, hay maze and more for an additional charge. Open to the public on weekends only. Farm tours are available. No pets.
Muelrath Ranch’s Pumpkin Patch – Featuring 21 varieties of pumpkin for carving and baking, you also pick up ornamental corn, gourds and other fall décor at Muelrath’s Pumpkin Patch in Santa Rosa. There’s a picnic area so you can bring lunch and entry into the patch is free. Open daily.
Fun Fact: Muelrath’s is close to our flagship store, OrganiCann on East Todd Rd. Come in and say hello!
Piedmont Avenue Pumpkin Patch – Okay, Oakland is East Bay not North Bay, but we wanted to include this one too since it’s just 2 miles from our beautiful Bay Area store, Oakland Organics! Located behind their Halloween store, the Piedmont Ave Pumpkin Patch carries 15 varieties of pumpkins from minis to monstrous!
