If you’re looking for a cool and refreshing treat, nothing beats an icy popsicle on a scorching summer day. Perfect for parties or whenever you need a quick pick-me-up, here’s how you can make some cannabis-infused popsicles at home:

  1. Pick up some popsicle molds. Popsicle molds are inexpensive and easy to use, but if you can’t buy a set, you can improvise. Try mini-popsicles using an ice cube tray, plastic wrap, and toothpicks, or small cups and straws.
  2. Choose a juice. You can use anything you like from green tea to fruit punch.
  3. Add the cannabis. There are two ways to infuse cannabis into your juice. The first is to simply add a pre-made cannabis tincture. It only takes a few drops of a THC tincture to make a potent pop. It works just as well with CBD! The second way is to make some cannabis simple syrup (recipe below) to your juice. Again, it won’t take much! Err on the side of caution until you get the dosing right.
  4. Freeze for several hours.
  5. ENJOY!

Homemade Cannabis Simple Syrup

You can make this cannabis simple syrup and store it in the fridge for up to several days. You can use it in a variety of drinks, cocktails, and desserts!

Ingredients:

Water

Granulated Sugar

1-2 grams roughly ground cannabis

1-2 tablespoons vegetable glycerin

Funnel

Strainer and/or cheesecloth

Saucepan

Airtight bottle

Instructions: Add equal parts water and sugar to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir frequently until all sugar granules are dissolved.

Add the ground cannabis and reduce the heat until the liquid is at a slow, low boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, remove the lid and stir. Add a dollop of vegetable glycerin and stir for several minutes to combine.

Pour the heated liquid through a strainer or cheesecloth to remove all plant material. You may need to strain your syrup several times. Allow the syrup to cool, seal in a glass jar and store in the fridge.
