Peanut Budder Heart Cookies

Ingredients –
∙ 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
∙ ¾ tsp baking soda
∙ ½ tsp baking powder
∙ ½ tsp salt
∙ ½ cup unsalted butter or Natural Cannabis Company CannaButter (We only recommend using medicated butter in this recipe if you have a very high tolerance.)
∙ ½ cup creamy peanut butter
∙ ½ cup granulated sugar
∙ ½ cup packed brown sugar
∙ 1 large egg
∙ 6 packages of Natural Cannabis Company seasonal Heart Truffles (2 heart truffles per pack)

Directions –
∙ Preheat oven to 375˚F.
∙ Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
∙ In a large bowl, whisk butter or NCC CannaButter until creamy.
∙ Cream the granulated and brown sugar with the butter until mixed well.
∙ Mix egg and peanut butter into the wet ingredients.
∙ Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet, mixing to combine.
∙ Refrigerate dough for about 3 hours, or freeze for 30 minutes, until easy to work with hands.
∙ Once chilled, divide dough into 12 pieces & roll each into a ball.
∙ Lightly flatten cookies by pressing down gently on each ball.
∙ Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden-brown and cooked in the center.
∙ Let cookies sit to cool for 5 minutes before pressing a chocolate truffle into each cookie. Allow cookies to completely cool before enjoying, unless you like them crumbly.
