Natural Cannabis Company’s Best of Harvest Collection Features 2016 Emerald Cup Winners
Congratulations to Green Shock and Mendo Dope Family Farms, our Emerald Cup winning small farm partners!
ICYMI, the 2016 Emerald Cup festival took place over the weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California. Billed as “the premiere destination for medical marijuana,” the Emerald Cup is one of the most epic and well-respected cannabis festivals in the country.
In addition to the tasting, shopping and entertainment, the Emerald Cup contest formally showcases the very best of the 2016 cannabis harvest, including categories for flowers, CBD, concentrates, edibles, tinctures and topicals.
Green Shock Farms took home second place in flowers with their Purple Candy Cane 50/50 strain while Mendo Dope Family Farms and their partner Mr. Bond took home third in concentrates with their Grease Monkey.
Purple Candy Cane is one of the featured strains in our California Farmer’s Showcase Best of Harvest collection released in November. Only a few of these unique boxed sets remain in stock, so if you’re interested in trying on the last samples, hurry in to one of our three locations: Oakland, Santa Rosa or Hopland.
If you made it to the Emerald Cup, hopefully you had a chance to stop by our booth (#66 in the Hall of Flowers) and do some tasting. We offered samples of our Best of Harvest strains, handed out umbrellas to combat the rainy weather and collected a whole bunch of donations to benefit The Living Room, a local day center for at-risk women and children, which we’re happy to match!
Be sure to sign up for High Society and get your Best of Harvest box before they’re gone. Containing a gram each of 28 strains, you get a full ounce of premium cannabis representing the best of 28 featured local, small cultivators. All this pungent, potent cannabis comes packaged in a beautiful gold embossed box that’s perfect for holiday giving. Just $190!
Thanks to everyone who participated to make this the best Emerald Cup event to date. We hope to see you next year!
