HIGH ART 2020 SPOTLIGHT: TANMOY KAYESEN

“Fludacs pale in comparison”

Tanmoy Kayesen is an artist andaarchitect from Hyderabad India. The art he makes renders the complicated relationship he shares with reality; it is a product of constant conflict between the actual reality and the reality that his mind fabricates for itself and experiences. His process involves very little conscious control over the outcome as it is the documentation of his life from the perspective of his subconscious mind; the only way that he is able to comprehend the vivid impressions of the world around him in all its entirety is by letting his subconscious mind interact with paper.

He entered “Fludacs pale in comparison” during High Art 2020.

High Art was created by Dona Frank and The Natural Cannabis Company in 2014 as a crowdsourcing solution to packaging design. From its humble beginnings, High Art has developed into an internationally-known art competition with thousands of entries annually from 100+ countries all over the world.

Each year professional and amateur artists create themed works through a variety of mediums to compete for $50,000 in prize money and to see their work featured on packaging, social media, at the High Art gallery in Santa Rosa, CA and displayed at prestigious art events, in the United States and abroad.
